Laurie Anne Williams' Obituary
Laurie Anne Williams, 50, of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Honolulu. She was born on January 6, 1965 in Morehead City, North Carolina. She was the youngest of three children born to Basil Boyce Jones and Patricia Ann Forrest. She was a homemaker.
She attended West Carteret High School, then on to East Carolina University and then to National University where she received her Behavioral Science and graduated, Summa Cum Laude. She began her career at Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California.
Laurie lived in San Diego California, Norfolk, Virginia and then settled in Kailua, Hawaii. She was married to Gary Williams on January 4, 2003 in San Diego, California.
Among her many friends her special friends were Sharon Ramelb, Natalie Lui-Kwan, Marie Wilwebber, Maile Schrader, Angela Barr, Alexas Chang, Lise Miller, Linda Dauber and Mary Osani.
The important events in her life were graduating college, traveling to Europe, finding Gary, becoming a mother and teaching her daughter Erin to love school. She enjoyed reading, hiking, walking, road trips, anything at the beach such as picnics, kayaking, swimming etc. Her favorite music entertainers who she loved listening to were Cowboy Junkies and Van Morrison
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Williams; daughters, Erin A. and Kristen Williams; brothers, Michael Jones and Stephen Jones.
