Lawrence Guba's Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Guba, 87, of Whitmore Village, Hawaii, died April 10, 2026, after cancer. Born in Hilo, raised in Honolulu.
U.S. Army veteran, worked in computer operations for Sears and HMSA, later taxi driver and retail sales. He was a jazz musician and enjoyed cooking, exercise, martial arts, and sports.
Survived by sons Anthony, David, Matthew, and Michael; brothers Gabriel Ferolino and Rodney Guba; sisters Josephine Mafnas and Delores Moag; and five granddaughters. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Inurnment June 9, 10:30 a.m., National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu.
