My condolences to the family of the late Leonard Mamizuka. Mr. Mamizuka was a patient of mine at the Wahiawa Diagnostic Laboratory Services. Over the years, Mr Mamizuka would come in and do his blood work. We would talk story. He would always light up when he talked about his family. His wife Jan and their children and grandchildren. And how he was so proud of them. Often he would go out of his way and bring our staff lunch. From pizzas and salads from costco to Filipino foods from Melina's in Whitmore Viilage. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and generosity. Possibly a month before his passing, Mr Mamizuka came in to do blood work. His health condition had worsen. Not knowing that would be my last time I'd see him, I took the opportunity to hug and thank him for the nice things he did for us and wanted him to know that. I'm thankful to have known him. He will be missed. May God bless his family with strength through this time of his passing. Aloha, Melaney Sato
