We gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Leonora Riberal Alcantra, a loving and kind woman who was a ray of light to everyone who knew her. Born on March 14th, 1934, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, Leonora's generous spirit touched many hearts throughout her 90 years.
Leonora had a passion for sewing, lovingly crafting dresses for her siblings and bringing joy to her family through her creations. She cherished all of her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, always making them feel special and adored. Her home was a place of warmth and kindness, where she exemplified her key traits of being kind, supportive, generous, compassionate, and hardworking.
She is survived by her brother Anacleto "Lito" Alcantra, sisters Alejandria Benitez and Francisca Tapat, sister-in-law Carmelita Alcantra, and brother-in-law Esteban Tapat. Leonora was preceded in passing by her beloved parents, Pio Alcantra and Consuelo Alcantra.
On February 22nd, 2025, Leonora peacefully passed away at her home in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Though she is no longer with us, her vibrant spirit and the joyful memories she created will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing her. Let us honor her legacy by embracing the love and kindness she shared so generously throughout her beautiful life.
