Leonore Uyehara's Obituary
Leonore Ching Uyehara, 85, of Kaneohe, passed away June 11, 2017. She was born in Honolulu on September 1, 1931, and was a tropical flower farmer, lei maker and lei seller, a former chef at the Top of Waikiki Restaurant, and a former beautician.
She is survived by sons, Charles (Cheryl) Uyehara, Jr., Bryan (Roxane) Uyehara and Clement (Christie) Uyehara, Sr.; daughters, Gail (Alma) Kaonohi and Sharon M.P (Wesley) Kawata; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Committal service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested.
