Lorraine Pi'ilani Sniffen's Obituary
Lorraine Pi’ilani Sniffen, a beloved U.S. Army veteran, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was 70 years old.
Born in Honolulu, Lorraine dedicated her life to service and family. She served her country with honor and courage during her time in the military. After her service, she became a bus driver, navigating the streets of her beloved island.
Lorraine’s heart belonged to her family. She was married to Herbert, and together they shared a lifetime of love and memories. Their union was blessed with three sons: Elton, Daniel (Chasity), and Jonah (Paulette). Lorraine was a devoted grandmother to 10 grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
In her quieter moments, Lorraine found solace in watching the Hallmark channel, where stories of love, hope, and family touched her heart. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
Lorraine will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A Committal Service in her honor will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 am, Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
Rest in aloha, Lorraine.
