I have never had a clear picture of a genuine courteous gentleman until I met Louis Lee. I feel very proud to have known this man and will model my own life view and manner of discourse with others after him. Your one of a kind Louis!! For he's a jolly good fellow, which nobody can deny!
My heart and good wishes are with Louie's family. I've known Louie for about 15 years at the Klipper. He always made me feel special....with his warm greetings and encouragement. Louie is the main reason the Klipper is the only course I play...I always hope to see him and indeed I noticed his absence last weekend. I even have a golf club I call "Lucky Louie"! In the winter I dread seeing "Louie's Lake" on the first and 9th holes. Such a gentleman, such a sweet man! Yet he was a darned good marshall and kept the slow and misbehaving players in line with stern politeness. I share your sadness and I'll adore Louie forever!

My deepest Sympathy goes out to the Lee Family. Louie was a friend for over 20 years. I only knew him from Klipper but everyone I know was always happy to see him and it just wont be the same there without his smile. He was nice to everyone but especially the kids and beginners at the course. He was great to the kids on my golf team. Louie always acknowledged everyone and it seemed that everyone knew his name. You could tell by the smiles around the proshop when Louie was working and I will always remember that smooth swing, even if it was from the wrong side of the ball.
He will be sorely missed but I plan to remember that smile and the two finger handshake every time I am at Klipper.
