Louise Koomea Sanford's Obituary
Louise Koomea Sanford, age 79, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones. Louise was born to David Kupa Kamauoha Jr. & Rose Kaomea Keawemauhili Kamauoha on April 5, 1938 in Honolulu Hawaii. She was married to Daniel Poepoe Sanford Jr. on November 21, 1964, and together they had four children: Louise K Kamauoha Renaud (Boogie), Daniel Poepoe Sanford III, Benjamin Kekaula Sanford, & Raemi Kaulana Sanford. Louise worked in the field of Construction and was known as a 'Laborer' who did not back away from or hesitate in any way from completing a job. She was part of a crew working on the construction of H-3 and a part of her tasks was that of delivering explosives, a task that she did with an attitude of confidence and style. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Daniel, and is survived by all of her children as well as a posterity of 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by two siblings: Sister: Happy Aukini Tauali'i (Kini) and Brother: David Mamane Keawemauhili Kamauoha (Baby Doll). Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Friday, December 8, 2017. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Service: 10:30 a.m. and Burial at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
