Gone too soon and never will be forgotten...
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunty, Niece, Cousin and Dear Friend.
Lydia Kekahili Davis "K-Dee" Marfil-Kepano, 58, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully surrounded by her dear loved ones on June 25, 2020.
She was born in Honolulu on April 8, 1962 to Herman Vincent Marfil and Lydia (Maielua) Marfil.
She worked at Fern Elementary School as an Educational Assistant.
The past few months "K-Dee" has been fighting strong to overcome her medical complications. Through the procedures, her health continued to deteriorate. She tried everything in her power to fight and overcome this obstacle; but with great sadness, on June 25, 2020, our Heavenly Father decided to bring her home.
Words cannot begin to express how deeply loved and missed she will be!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lydia and Herman Marfil, brothers, Herman and Wesley Marfil and Jacob Maielua.
Lydia is lovingly survived by her family: husband, Quintin Hekila "Kila" Kepano; sons, Kalama (Edina) Marfil, Krystin "Ka'imi" (Lexi) Marfil, Bronson Kepano, Brent (Jen) Kepano and Bronco "Mana" Marfil-Kepano; daughters, Kristelle K. (Pou Jr.) Taliulu and Brianne Kepano; 13 grandchildren, Christopher Joshua Marfil, Cheylah Marie Hokulani Marfil, John Jacob Marfil, Janice Marie Marfil, Lennox Taliulu, Lexington Taliulu, Alexander Taliulu, Oliver-Paul Taliulu, Ethan-Storm Domingo-Marfil, Zaiden Kepano-Nakatani, Zefeniah Kepano-Nakatani, Zailey-Mae Kepano-Chock, Brealyn Isabella Ulit-Kepano; brothers, Vincent Marfil, Byron (Tina) Marfil, James "Kimo" (Corinne) Marfil; sisters, Daniella (Joe) Kamanu, Orchid (Son) Lopes, Lylet (Stephen) Moon, and Katrina "Rina" (Pat) Marfil-Afoa; sister-in-law, Ernestine Marfil; auntie, Carol-Jean Ryan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her private celebration of life and funeral services are scheduled to be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Valley of the Temples Main Chapel and burial to follow at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park - Ocean View Garden, both in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
