Mabel Estrella Lolokuokalani Tom's Obituary
Mabel Estrella Lolokuokalani Tom, a resident of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016, she was 73 years old. She was born to Harry Adam Friend and Mabel Kahilu Beckley in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 6, 1942. She was a retired botanist for H. Marugame Nursery.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Tom, Adam Tom and Kendall “Bully” Tom, Jr.; daughters, Maria Elena Sheridan, Angeline Tom, Roxanne Tom-Detol and Marlene Tom; hanai sons, Deldon Staggs and Duane Staggs; hanai daughter, Allison “Sissy” Kamaka; brothers, Maxie “Del” Navas, Joe Navas and Eddie Navas; sisters, Momi, Sheila, Gail, Ana and Wilma; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Tom will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. with wake service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (located at 148 Makawao St. #A Kailua, Hawaii 96734); Mass at 11:00 a.m., with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
