Macario Coloma Damo's Obituary
Macario Coloma Damo was born on February 28, 1926 on the Big Island of Hawaii to Paula Lucas Coloma and Leon Valdez Damo. He passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 94 on February 21, 2021.
Macario was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, cousin and uncle who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II serving in Japan and Korea, and was awarded a Victory Medal.
Macario retired as a Car Salesman at Cutter Ford and Shelly Cars Company. He enjoyed fishing while he lived in paradise. In August 2011, his family moved to Las Vegas where he continued enjoying his retirement by spending his time at the casinos, driving around and traveling. He is known as the Godfather of the Damo Family; who brought them to the United States of America seeking Freedom and Opportunity.
Macario was preceded in death by his son Macario C. Damo, Jr., brother Jose Coloma Damo, sisters Caelata Damo Juliano, Magdelena Damo Desierto, Bibiana Damo Noberte and Herminia Damo Licudine.
Macario is survived by his loving wife Justina Damo, children Anthony, Antoinette, Leon(Cheryl), Paul(Cynthia), Justin and 3 other children, grandchildren Cody, Dustin, Seth, Sage, Christian, Jayfrey, Angelo, Joey, Angelica, Alexio, Jordan, Jheryl, Geraldine, MJ, Cyrus, Macy, Nicholas and 8 other grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, " and a myriad of" cousins, nieces and nephews.

Service on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Valley of the Temples. Burial to follow at 11:00am at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery
