Dear Dianne and family, We are so sad to hear of the passing of Lee. We have fond memories of him and his infectious laugh and sense of humor.
in 2011, you both traveled to Guam for him to share his knowledge at our 2nd Regional Forensic Science symposium.
We remember a quiet dinner the four of us shared at what was then our favorite restaurant. We had expounded that the place was so wonderful, however on that particular evening the service was so bad... but somehow Lee and perhaps the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon managed to have us all laughing so hard throughout that night; that the poor service was forgiven.
Lee left his mark on this world and will be missed but never forgotten.
May he rest in peace.

We were blessed to have known Lee. He was a bright light in this world. He had an infectious sense of humor and enthusiastically shared his knowledge of forensic science with his students. He joined us in 2009 and then again in 2011 to share his expertise in Friends of the Crime Lab, Inc. 1st & 2nd Regional Forensic Science Symposium here in Guam. He will be missed. Our hearts go out to Dianne and family. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss Diane. I loved all of the memories you shared with us and always knew you both loved each other perfectly. God bless you always.
I only recently found out that Lee had passed. I have great memories of Lee at conferences sharing knowledge. He was indeed an inspiration for me in my forensic entomology career. He will be missed i am sure by the entire entomology community.
I hope that the University colleagues of Dr. Goff will also publish an obituary in a scientific journal that would reflect his indispensable contribution to the taxonomy and ecology of chigger mites.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Dianne, I always thought of you and your husband as the perfect couple.
I sit here with a heavy heart, grappling with the news of Dr. Lee’s passing. It is difficult to find the right words to express the profound impact they had on my life and the depth of gratitude I feel for their guidance and support.
When I first embarked on my academic journey, I was filled with uncertainty and self-doubt. It was Lee who gave me the courage to pursue a PhD in Entomology. Lee genuinely cared about my personal growth, encouraged me to embrace challenges, and taught me invaluable life lessons. Thank you for everything Dr. Lee, I am forever thankful for your support!! Rest in peace.
