Magdalena dela Cruz Baoit, 79, of Aiea, passed away January 16, 2016 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Born August 1, 1936 in Laoag City, Philippines, to parents Gervacio and Cristeta dela Cruz, Magdalena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by beloved husband, Gregorio; sons, Braulio (Priscilla) Ballesteros, William (Nena) Baoit, Welfredy (Ulynn) Baoit; daughters, Rosemelyn (Apolonio) Tungpalan, Wilma (Rey) Baoit; grandchildren: Braulio Ballesteros, Jr., Leilani (Lester) de Altoraga, Jennifer (Scott) Koch, Dianarose (Isaac) Spells, Darren (Gretah) Tungpalan, Jayzel (Reysian) Pangilinan, Judy Ann (Kendel J.R.) Bayne, John Davis Baoit, Rochelle (Alan Balanay) Cabansag, Reywell (Nicole Lucas) Cabansag, Sherry Faye (Lemwell Paderes) Baoit; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dominique and Brandon de Altoraga; Matthew and Skyler Tungpalan; Ryzen and Rayden Pangilinan; Calvin Bayne III; Mark Jayden, Vincent, Reynell, Christian, Jayden, Sherrie Anne, Jeny (Jacob Channels), Nainoa and Nadia Cabansag; Cian Francell Chastine Joy (Reese Oshiro) Baoit, Charvin Jhio Baoit.
Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. A second visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa; Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
