My friend Ron Pelissier and I, met Mr. Man Sik during our visit to Honolulu for the Pro Bowl in 2000. He drove us to the Hyatt from the airport, and we shared a fantastic conversation on the ride. He gave us his card, and told us if we needed a ride anywhere during our stay to call him. Well, for the next week Mr. Man Sik was there for us every time we called. We felt such a bond with him because of his gracious personality and great sense of humor. He was a genuine, loving, honest man. He reminded us of our own fathers. After a week of special times, we departed Honolulu and never stopped speaking of Mr. Man Sik. I just recently searched the web for him because my wife and I will return to Honolulu in Feb. My search uncovered the very sad news of his passing. Ron and I were shocked and saddened by the news. Our memory of this great man will always be one of joy and happiness. We will never forget him. May God bless his soul.
