Before they took him away in the ambulance to the hospital where he died a day or so later, I went into his room and I gave him a hug and I told him it’s gonna be okay. I hope he knows how much I loved him.

Grandpa was the kind and caring soul who helped turn my life around and never judged me on the mistakes I've made. He would always laugh and tell me that I remind him of my mother. Love you grandpa, you are truly missed!

Best advise given from grandpa - "if you do not know how to cook, just use chicken broth and turn your heat down"... do it all the time.

I will always remember grandpa’s wonderful kind heart and loving spirit. He was also a phenomenal cook making the best Adobe and singing the karaoke! He strengthened my love in God and family. RIP grandpa, you are missed and always be remembered...
