Manuel M Obena's Obituary
Manuel M Obena, 90, of Aiea, passed away peacefully in Honolulu. Born on August 26, 1935, in Tarlac, Philippines, "Manny" honorably served with the United States Coast Guard and later retired from the Hawaiʻi Paroling Authority with the State of Hawaiʻi. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Christina; children Michelle, Rene, and Kristine; and grandchildren Zachary, Shaun, and Matthew. Services celebrating Manny’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Church, with public visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hawaiʻi State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
