Marcelina Rarogal James' Obituary
Marcelina Rarogal James, 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was the fifth out of six children born to Segunda (Castillo) and Casamiro Rarogal on January 2, 1926 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She was married to Valentin James on June 3, 1946 in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Her most important event in her life was when she came to Hawaii.
Marcelina was a homemaker and lived in Honolulu. She loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children: sons, Ricardo (Erlinda) James, Virgilio (Nemie) James and daughter, Lilia (Frank) Ganiron; eight grandchildren, Crescencia Tabladillo, Yollanda (Daris) Barroga, Richard (Kathleen) James, Franslyn Ganiron (Joel) Gascon, Wilson Ganiron, Frank James Ganiron, Christopher (Jocelyn) James, Vernie (Kristel) James; 12 great-grandchildren, Melody Tabladillo, Melanie Tabladillo, Marjorie Tabladillo, Roseann Barroga, Rosebel Barroga, Jayden Gascon, Jayze Gascon, Le Bron James, Arabella James, Criscelyn James, Chris Lawrence James, Cresha Fe James; two great-great-grandchildren, Angela Nicole and King Albert; and brother, Fermin Rarogal.
Celebration of life services for Marcelina will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Kalihi with visitation from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., family service at 10:15 a.m., Mass to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial service to follow 12:00 p.m. at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
