Marcides Sunrise Tavares, born on September 11, 1932, in Lihue, Kauai, to Modesto Williams and Martha Walhuna, passed away on July 15, 2024. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Pohai Nani. Marcides leaves behind her beloved children, Cindylou Kum and Abel Tavares. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
