Margaret Balidio Corpuz's Obituary
Margaret was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 9th, 1925. In 1954 she married the love of her life, Marcelino Corpuz, and they were blessed with a son, Paul, in 1957, and a daughter, Elaine, in 1964. They resided in Honolulu until Marcelino's passing in 1990. In 2011, she moved to Dixon, California, where she lived with her daughter until she passed.
Margaret was a devoted wife, a stern mother who ran a light ship, and a firey but proud grandmother/great grandmother. She was an exceptional homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and outings with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling all over the world to see her family.
Margaret was the eighth of nine children born to Paulino and Juana Balidio, she have both gone home to heaven. Also preceding her in death are sisters Carmen, Mary, and Elizabeth, and brothers Marcelino, Scarius, Julian, and Johnny. She leaves behind brother Jesus in Angeles City, Philippines.
Margaret is survived by her son Paul, daughter Elaine, granddaughters Celina and Alyssa, grandson Skylar, and great-grandson Zane. She has numerous nieces and nephews scattered throughout Hawaii and California.
Final interment will be next to her husband Marcelino at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Sincere gratitude to the Pacific Senior Living Center, North Bay Vaca Valley Hospital, and the Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vacaville, California for the fender care they provided Margaret.
