Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary at Valley of the Temples regrets to announces the passing of Mrs. Margaret Jean Lani Vanaman, 70, of Kahuku, HI on December 7th, 2024. Mrs. Margaret was born in Honolulu, HI to her parents D.O. Lavern Vanaman and Margaret Antone Lopes on September 5th, 1954. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her 8 children; she pursued her Doctorates in Psychology and practiced as a Mental Health Counselor for the State of Hawaii. She touched many lives during her time here on Earth. Mrs. Margaret was a Breast Cancer Warrior after being diagnosed in 2008, she fought hard for many years but is pain free now. Her memory will live on in her surviving family, son Alfredo Cabael, son Leon Cabael, son Neil Cabael, son Budde Cabael, daughter Ana Manumaleuna, daughter Jesse Cabael, daughter Sonnie Muaina, and son Joesph Cabael. She was a beloved grandmother to 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be incredibly missed by those who knew and loved her.
