How do I start my story about my dear friend Margaret. I met Margaret in 1965 when I was a girl scout leader in Foster Village; and her daughter “Kitty” who became my daughter’s good friend. (and later mine) who was also in the troop. I found out that Margaret had lived in Moscow, stationed with her U.S. Marine husband “Mac”. Since I am an immigrant born of Russian parents, we had fun spending time speaking “Russian.” She introduced me to her “plein aire” art group, which we later named; “The Roving Rembrandts.” We painted all over the islands and we held wonderful art shows displaying our paintings capturing the beauty of the islands. Her lovely paintings are in many collections throughout the world. Margaret had a wonderful spirit; and her daughter Kitty is carrying on that same happy smile and disposition. God Bless the family. Aloha my dear friend. Olga Venedictovna
