Margaret Oda Nosse's Obituary
Margaret Oda Nosse passed away at home on September 23, 2018; she was 101 years old. Margaret was born in Laie, Hawaii to Tatsumi and Ishi (Hashimoto) Oda. She was raised on Oahu and lived in Manoa for most of her life.
Margaret was a retired credit office clerk and bookkeeper for Sears Ala Moana.
Margaret loved her family, friends, her home, flowers, gardening, clothes, and sweets. She was kind and generous, made lasting connections and brought out the best in everyone.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Nosse and David Nosse and her daughter, Joan (Paul) Okubo; five grandchildren, Craig (Tory) Nosse, Lori (Alika) Parish, David (Jillian) Okubo, and Daniel and Sarah Okubo; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom, and her much-loved three sisters and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Diamond Head Mortuary; visitation from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m., with service to begin at 5:00 p.m.
