Margarita Agullana Tabag's Obituary
- Born in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on 7/12/1911; second of the five siblings. She was raised and educated in Pagudpud. She married her sweetheart Francisco Agullana. They had four children: Elena, Eddie, Jessie and Tessie. She was a devout and religious lady, was an active member and choir member of the Aglipayan Church in Pagudpud, and more recently at St. Paul’s Church in Honolulu, Hawaii. She devoted her love and time raising their children while Francisco was away overseas in order to support the family. She loved to sing and dance and was usually the first one to get up and dance at social events. She moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in September 1963 to attend her husband Francisco’s funeral. She worked at Abo Laundry servicing the airlines industry where she retired from after 10 years of service. She remarried to Pedro Tabag (deceased) in July 1967. She is survived by her three children: Elena, Eddie and Tessie, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Her second great great grandchild, 2-yr old Owen, shares the same birthdate (July 12) with Margarita. She was preceded by her Son Jessie, Grandchild Josie Lynn, and Greatgrandchild Jory. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel at Valley of the Temples. Visitation to begin at 9:30 a.m.; Service to start at 10:15 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Memorial Park. A luncheon will be held from 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. following the burial.
