Margret Anela Roylo's Obituary
Margret Anela Roylo, 80, of Waianae, Hawaii passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu. She was born on August 16, 1935 to Macario Pineda and Bessie Weed in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a retired food preparer at Bigway Burger inWahiawa and for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
Margret attended Leilehua High School and furthered her education with attending Cannon’s Business College in Honolulu. She lived in Wahiawa for a period of time then made the move to Waianae.
She was married to Louis C. Roylo on December 26, 1953 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Wahiawa.
She loved gardening, reading, and cleaning, and riding on the city bus. She was a private person and loved her family. She had a special friend named Debbie who lived in Maili Point Beach. She enjoyed music from the Carpenters, Helen Reddy, and Don Ho.
The events that were significant in her life was the birth of her first grandchild who was born on January 8, 1982. Margaret died on the 13th anniversary of her first granddaughter’s 21st birthday.
She is survived by sons, Louis Roylo, Paul Roylo and Harold Roylo; daughter, Anna Marie A. Ehia; sisters, Bernice Godoy of Honolulu, Beatrice Beam of Iowa; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
Inurnment scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
