Maria Domingcil Barut, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Born on May 11, 1935, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Maria lived a life defined by dedication, humility, and love for family. She later married her beloved husband, Isabelo Barut, and together they built a strong foundation rooted in love and devotion to each other.
Maria worked for many years in housekeeping, where she was known for her reliability, gentle spirit, and kindness toward everyone she met. Her greatest joy, however, came from her family. She is survived by her children: Rufina Pascual, Manuel Barut, Corazon Barut, Priscila Barut, Isabelo Barut Jr., Beatriz Yogi, and Renante Barut. She also leaves behind 10 cherished grandchildren and 7 adored great‑grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride.
Maria will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with unwavering devotion.
