Mariano Cachola Jr. 's Obituary
Mariano Cachola Jr., 78, of Waipahu, passed away on March 16, 2015. He was born on April 10, 1936 in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, where he lived until 1993. His parents were Mariano M. Cachola Sr. and Roberta Munoz Cachola. He was the 4th child of 7 children. Mariano attended Burgos Memorial School Loest, Immaculate Conception School, Technological University of the Philippines and University of Northern Philippines where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education and began his career as Teacher. He retired after serving 17 years at the Hawaii Convention Center. He enjoyed playing cards, and spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by wife, Catalina Cachola; daughters, Ruby Ulibas, Sheila Cachola-Tinga and Maria Elena Cachola-Agcaoili; brothers, Romeo, Rodolfo and Josefino Cachola; sister, Maryann Teano; 4 grandchildren.
Visitation: 5:30-6:30p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service: 6:30 p.m.; additional visitation: 9:30-11:00a.m., Friday, April 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church- Waipahu; Mass: 11:00a.m; burial to follow 1:00p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park; Family request no all black attire; please use black and white or aloha attire.
