Marienita Catu Pastor's Obituary
Marienita Catu Pastor, 49, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was the oldest of three children born to Vicente Pastor and Amelia Deguzman in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 12, 1965.
She attended Kailua Elementary, then went on to attend Kailua Intermediate School, and in her high school years she attended and graduated from Kalaheo High School. After graduation she worked for the Federal Government with the Secret Service.
She lived in Kailua all of her life and was a member of Legacy Church. Her childhood and longtime friend is Kristine Savaii. She was a matriarch, spiritual, strict, giving, and loving person. The important events and things in her life were; helping to build the company Buk Buk Kitchen, spending time with family and she truly enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by mother, Amelia Pastor; son, Randal Akiona Jr.; daughter, Karleigh Akiona; sisters, Grace Pastor-Agbayani, Gloria Pastor-Tucker, Peggy Samoata, and Sheri Komatsu; brothers, Randal Akiona, Lyle Valdez, and Blackie Kala. She is preceded in death by her father Vicente Pastor.
Celebration of Life Services to be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Kailua Beach Pavilion.
