Marta Caling-Caling Lucas' Obituary
Marta Caling-Caling Lucas, 84, of Honolulu, passed away October 15, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born January 22, 1932 in Isabela, Burgos, Philippines to parents Victorino Caling-Caling and Maria Esteban Caling-Caling, and was a retired seamstress for Surfline Hawaii. Marta was preceded in death by her son, Rodrigo Lucas.
She is survived by beloved husband, Benjamin D. Lucas; sons, James (Resie) Lucas, Sam (Ligaya) Lucas, and Ferdinand (Divina) Lucas; daughters, Connie (Francisco) Juan and Rufina (Constantine) Nightingdale; sister Evangeline (Johnny) Dela Cruz; hanai daughter, Cornelia Macaburas; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Chapel (47-200 Kahekili Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii). Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 12 noon at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
