It is with great sadness to share the passing of Martha De Mello. Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary is honored to be serving the De Mello family.
Martha Rose Kekaikuihala De Mello, 80, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died August 2, 2021 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu on February 22, 1941, and raised in Kuli'ou'ou Valley, she retired as a secretary for the Federal Government and was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Oahu and St. Michael's Catholic Church while residing in Kailua-Kona. Though Martha's loving and charismatic personality will be missed, memories of her will live on. We have definitely been blessed with her presence! Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private service and burial will be held at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park on September 10, 2021. The celebration of life will be held on a later date. Martha is survived by her SON'S; Shane (Jane) De Mello of Captain Cook, Hawaii and Montgomery (Heidy) De Mello of Kuli'ou'ou, Oahu. DAUGHTER; Renee (Neill, Jr.) Schoening of Ewa Beach, Oahu. BROTHER; Robert (Lani) Reeves of Kaaawa, Oahu. SISTER; Rose Henry of the Philippines. BROTHERS-IN-LAW; Dennis (Nanea) Sai of Hilo and Herman (Susan) Texeira of Waimea. 7 GRANDCHILDREN and 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
