Mary Ida Smith's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Mary Ida Smith, who was born on December 31, 1921, in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Her parents were Wai and Rosaline Lee. She was the ninth of thirteen children.
She attended St. Ann’s and earned a High School Diploma. She lived in Koolaupoko, Kalihi, Kaneohe and Kaalaea Village.
She was married to Raymond Eugene Smith on September 19, 1939.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Her special friends are Flossie, Margie, Clara, and Brothers, Sisters and Inlaws. She was part of the Eagles Club and Kaneohe Senior Citizens; and an active member of St. Ann’s and St. Stephen’s Diocesan.
Her most important events were her Family and Friends. She loved fishing, bowling, golfing, cards and going to Las Vegas. Her favorite music was Hawaiian.
She is survived by sons, Warren, Anson, Timmie, Wayne, Marko and Ben Smith; daughters, Princess Collins, Baby Doll Jenson and Konnie “Missy” McKeague; 26 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation: 5:30-6:30p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service: 6:30p.m.; aloha attire.
