Mary Ka'akau Watson's Obituary
Mary Ka’akau Watson, 86, formerly of Ka’alaea Kahalu’u, passed away on May 31, 2017. Mary was born to Frances (Sheldon) and John M. Akima on January 6, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a homemaker.
Mary is survived by her children, Peter (Bernice) Watson, Robert (Jackie) Watson, Dawn (Timmy) Acpal, Leila (Stan) Tibayan, Ross (Leone) Watson, Harry-Arthur (Keala) Watson, Maile Watson, Puanani Watson (Hugo), Kanani Watson (Phillipo), and Tema Watson (Frank); 31 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren and more on the way.
Celebration of life service for Mary will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with service to begin at 10:30 a.m., and burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
