Masako "Mako" Laura Iwami's Obituary
Masako “Mako” Laura Iwami, 93 of Nu’uanu, died at her home. She was born in Honolulu and worked for many years as school secretary. She was an active and lifelong member of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, with her attendance starting when she was only five years old.
She is survived by her sister Florence Iwami, her brother Tadayoshi Iwami (Grace), sister-in-law Gertrude Iwami (Howard), and many nieces, a nephew, great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church 2/13/18, 11:00AM, with inurnment at 3:00PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. THE FAMILY KINDLY REQUESTS THAT IN LIEU OF FLOWERS or KODEN, DONATIONS IN HER HONOR BE MADE TO ST. ELIZABETH'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH.
