Masato Taniguchi's Obituary
TANIGUCHI
Kaneohe, Hawaii—Masato Taniguchi, 91, of Kaneohe Hawaii, Formerly of Honokowai, Hawaii, passed away on August 21, 2013 at his home.
Masato was born on June 28, 1922 to Koichi and Kiyono Taniguchi. He married Michiko Arisumi on January 11, 1945. Masato retired from American Factors.
Masato served in the United States Army from 1946 – 1949.
A private service celebrating Masato’s life was conducted by Reverends Robert Nakata and Joseph Yun on August 29, 2013 at Kahaluʻu United Methodist church. Interment was held at Valley of Temples following the service. Arrangements were handled by Hawaiian Memorial Mortuary. Surviving are his loving wife Michiko, sons Michael (Leslie) and Jay of Kaneohe, and four grandchildren, Shawn (Samantha) Taniguchi, Charlen (Eliot) Oki, Amy (Joseph) Salvador and Matt Taniguchi, along with two brothers Takeo of Honokowai and Masao Taniguchi.
Masato was preceded in death by his parents and son Ronald.
Family is requesting no monetary offering or flowers.
