Matias Ramos Eda's Obituary
Matias Ramos Eda was born March 1, 1948 in Isabela, Philippines, and was the son of Alberto Eda and Pelagia Ramos Eda. He was a hardworking crop farmer, working in the Philippines and also in Hawaii for Monsanto Corporation and Del Monte Foods. Matias passed away February 19, 2017 at home at the age of 68.
He is survived by beloved wife, Catalina "Taling" Eda; sons, Ramon "Ferdinand" (Marites Guzman) Eda and Randy (Rose Ramos) Eda; daughter, Mary Ann (Jesus) Acio; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother Cario Eda; sisters, Virgina Ramos Eda, Angelita Ramos Eda, Dominga Ramos Eda.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waipahu. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
