Maximo Asuncion Tiburcio's Obituary
Maximo Asuncion Tiburcio, 92, has passed away in Honolulu on Saturday April 6, 2019. Maximo was born on March 10, 1927 to his parents Arsenio Tiburcio and Eufrecina Sanchez in Brgy Sail-Laoag City, Ilocos Norte in the Philippines. Maximo supported his family as a Laborer in Construction.
Maximo is survived by his wife, Catalina Tiburcio; his children, Erlinda T. Agaton, Lydia T. Saoit, Thelma Pagay, Marilou Soriano, Rowena Madarang, Arturo S. Tiburcio, Nathaniel Tiburcio, Efren Tiburcio and Nestor Tiburcio. Maximo is also survived by his sister Gladys (Joselito) Monuz.
Maximo was blessed to have a large, caring family. He is survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His grandchildren's names are Godwin, Gerlie, Kathleen, Gilbert, Eren, Jeashley, Jeffrey, Michael, Andrew, Kimberly, Neslie, Hazel, Rhea, J. R. Nes, Ashley, Maybelle, Jeana, E.J., and Ar. J. His Great-grandchildren's names are Caleb, Ezekiel, Kaiden, Kaylen, Keisha, Kira, Kyla, Kaeara, Kalia, Kenzi, Karalyn, Sapphire and Aeson Riley.
Maximo is predeceased by his brother Rogelio (Aurelia) Tiburcio, and his grandson John.
For those who would like to support the family during this difficult time, there will be a Wake Service on Friday June 7, 2019 at Valley of the Temples Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 5:30pm and the Wake Service will begin at 6:30pm. The family will be continuing Maximo's Celebration of Life at Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa on Saturday June 8, 2019. Visitation will begin at 10:00am and Mass will begin at 11:00am. Burial Services will be held at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 1:00pm.
