May Parages, 76, of Ewa Beach, passed away peacefully with her 'Ohana by her side at Ka Puna Wai Ola Center on November 26, 2017.
She was born in Waimea, Kaua'i on April 22, 1941 to Josephine Ka'aukai Malama.
May retired as a Logistics Specialist with Unisys Corporation.
May was known to many as an outgoing, outspoken, kind-hearted, and strong woman who will truly be missed. She had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh so contagious that others couldn't help but laugh along. She was respected and loved by all that had the privilege to cross paths with her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Alexander "Rogie" Parages.
She is survived by her daughter Danette (Kevin) Kualapai; son, David (Anya) Parages; granddaughters, Kalena Kualapai, Kelia (Joseph) Wright, Kilikina (Anthony) Dickey, Kapua Kualapai; hanai granddaughters, Justine Haasenritter, Mona Ape; 12 great-grandchildren and her "fur baby" Chihuahua companion, Kalei Malama.
Celebration of life service to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., service to begin at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
