Melanio Santos Ramos' Obituary
Melanio Santos Ramos was born on October 22, 1938 in Laoag City, Philippines. He was born to Eulalia Felipe (Santos) and Aniano Domingo Ramos. Melanio was 78 years old.
Melanio passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Straub Clinic and Hospital in Honolulu. He was a retired insurance agent for Independent Order of Foresters.
Melanio is survived by his wife, Estrella Ramos; son, Melfred M. Ramos; daughters, Leah Mel (Ray) Bermudes and Norijane (Jesse) Soriano; brother, Cresente Ramos; sisters, Fe (Gil) Gajeton, Lety Joaquin and Helen (Flor) Curameng; 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Service for Melanio will be held on Friday, January 13, 20176 at Central Union Church located at 1660 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96826; visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Additional visitation to be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Central Union Church; visitation 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m., burial to follow 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
