Melvin "Mel" Katsumi Nakagawa's Obituary
Melvin “Mel” Katsumi Nakagawa, 72, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on June 18, 2015. He was born on April 17, 1943 to Richard Tadao Nakagawa and Ruth Yasuko Nakai. He was a sole proprietor of Sparc Enterprises and a retired electronics supervisor from the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
Melvin is survived by his wife Jean H. Nakagawa; daughter, Lisa (Nelson) Ogimoto and grandson Brandson Ogimoto.
Visitation to his funeral service will be held from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Kalihi Union Church; celebration of life service to begin at 4:00 p.m.
