Melvyn Mitsuo Mabe's Obituary
Melvyn Mitsuo Mabe, born on July 9, 1942, in Wailuku, Hawaii, passed away on November 3, 2011, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Sally Mabe, and a loving father and grandfather whose presence brought warmth and strength to his family.
Melvyn dedicated much of his life to public service and aviation, working for Aloha Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, the State of Hawaii, and the Department of Agriculture. Through his years of service, he earned the respect of colleagues and contributed meaningfully to his community.
He is survived by his children, Jerri Mabe, Chris Mabe, and April Mabe; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, all of whom carry forward his memory and legacy. Melvyn will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his family.
