I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was my trainer at my first duty station in Hawaii. He was kind, funny and adored his family. I think this pic was from a work picnic.

Mike was a great friend, neighbor and shipmate. I will miss him dearly. We had many discussions over a cup of coffee, spent holidays together, and we liked taking on different projects. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He also served many years on USNS vessels as a civilian and ended his working career supporting military communications on Whidbey Island in Washington State. The animals on his property loved him and always felt safe, even leaving their newborn with him to watch. It’s very hard knowing that I can’t call or visit with Mike but he left me with many great memories that will always be with me. RIP my friend.
