Please know how much of an impact Mike had on the lives of all those around him. It made me incredibly sad to know that our perfect friend was no longer on this plane. He was an incredibly kind soul.

I first met Mike & fam. in Canoga Park. I was dating his brother-in-law Chris at the time. He was the type of person that literally made you feel at "home", yes--his healthy and good-humored laughter was contagious, his chef skills were on-point, and the hospitality was unforgettable. Fast forward to San Jose, Ca. it was as if being part of the Park family was part the universe's plan to imprint cherished friend's hearts and show us role models of how to "be present" along the way. He was truly loved by many of us.

To Tina, his Children and Grandchildren, my sincere condolences--You were blessed to have him and we were lucky to know him.This world is lesser for the loss of Michael Park and we are thinking of you on this day.

Dad I still can’t believe that you are not here on the earth physically, I try to remember the last hug and kiss I have you. I regret not making more time to spend with you, I never realized or believed I would ever lose my rock, my daddy, my hero. I still hear your voice in my head, you laughs, your scoldings…lol. I know you’re still talking to my spirit, and watching over us all. I just still can’t believe you’re gone like the wind…it’s going to take some getting use to, but I’m trying to be strong and know in my heart that you’re in a better place..free, breathe in and out like how you would do your tai chi every morning. I admire how hard you worked, I never realized how hard you tried to provide for us, until you couldn’t anymore. It hurt me to see you how you weren’t able to do what you loves to do towards the end. I know you’re with me in all I do, I’m not going to give up. I’ll always be your baby, and make sure that everything I do and become will be with your strength and wisdom and morals you instilled in me. I love you forever daddy. I’ll see you in my dreams, we walking hand in hand on a white Sandy beach of Hawai’i ❤️ see you over the rainbow, when I admire all the beauty of life and all our times together. Love you forever! I’m so lucky to have had you as my father.

My Uncle Mike was born to be a great dad, pretty much ever since I was young I felt like he had a lot to do with how I set standards for myself and raising my own family. When I try to go back down memory lane I can't really remember too much of my younger days but when it comes to the time that I had with my Uncle Mike it's almost like I can remember it like yesterday, the smell of his cologne, the perfect smile and laugh that he had and it was always easy for me to make him laugh I know that he loved me with all of his heart and that's what made me love him even more almost like he was my father figure. Words really can't describe how awesome this guy was and is! He was a wonderful cook a real Chef Curry with the pot! He inspired me to cook for my wife and my children all different kinds of recipes. We would go in his RV and cruise around different beaches in Los Angeles, he taught me how to fish and I don't think anyone else knows exactly how good of a skill it is until you meet someone like Mike and he shows you the ropes and details of catching fish. My Uncle Mike and Tia Tina had a daughter who they named Sabrina, the most beautiful baby who I got to watch go into a beautiful woman. My Uncle Mike loved all of his daughters and sons and grandkids, I know he is Somewhere Over the Rainbow looking down at all of us. I miss him with all of my heart and I feel like he is always with us in spirit. His jokes and his stories were like no other. Maliki mikimaka I can hear his voice singing.

I married mikes brother Ken in 1981 here in the UK while he was stationed in the US Air Force we got posted to Colorado in 1983 when I would meet the rest of the Park family I was excited to meet Ken‘s brother Mike as he was going out with a girl around my own age called Tina I instantly liked them both and came to love them dearly over the years. Mike &Tina’s love shines through from the very start and as they overcome things in their marriage like all couples do it went even deeper and stronger. Mike strength strong personality with his big heart and sense of humour he would really always make you feel safe protected and Give you encouragement to go ahead and try new things. He’s cooking was great he had no secrets he wouldn’t share in the kitchen lots of family stories were told and made we will miss you Mike but we hope that one day we will see each other again and have more stories to tell xx

Our worlds crossed when I met Tina’s Brother Tony , then his two brothers and three sisters. Tina was the one that brought you into the picture it was in the early 80’s I remember the two of you would travel a lot first time I ever actually walked into an RV it was the talk of the town then before cell phone and pagers you two broke out with a suit case carrying one of the first cell phones not connected to a land line. After loosing contact with the Navarez family for twenty plus years, of All the places in the world I reconnect with Tina and Mike in Honolulu and in full circle my husband and Mike attended STLouis High School talk about a small world. Well Mike I am happy to say I was able to spend a day at the beach with long time friends and made some new ones along the way. And when in Hawaii I will make if a point to check on your lovely wife Tina, thank you for your kindness and fond memories RIP Aloha Amelia Ingel Sacramento Ca

Papa Mike was always a pleasure to be around. I’m best friends with his youngest daughter, Sabrina, and I’ve known him since I was a teenager. He’s always made me and my children smile with his light hearted and witty personality. I’m so thankful that he was able to meet all 3 of my children and grateful that we got to spend some time with him shortly before his last days here on earth 💕 We love you papa Mike and we all know you’re spirit is still here with us. You’ve always been like family to me and my kids.
