Mikio Izuka's Obituary
Mikio (Mike) Izuka, 85, of Wahiawa, crossed over into the hands of our Lord on September 29, 2021. After he graduated from Waimea High School, Kauai in 1954, he attended University of Hawaii, Manoa, and graduated in 1960 with a degree in Civil Engineering. On his one and only job interview he got hired by the State of Hawaii to work in the Highway Dept. and stayed there till retirement. Upon retiring he was the caregiver for his parents, Ichiro and Tomiko Izuka and also was a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ.
Mikio loved to act, sing and sketch; with his warm personality and pleasant smile he gained alot of friends.
He is survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 4 grand nephews and 2 grand nieces.
He will be so deeply missed.
