Milagros Vicentino Hudson's Obituary
Mrs. Milagros V. Hudson, 63, passed away on December 7, 2018, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Milagros was born August 21, 1955 in Ilagan, Isabela, Philippines to Eugenio Ocampo Vicentino and Sofia Malana Portera. She was the third of six siblings. She attended San Narciso High School, Adamson University College and School of Technology Institute. She married Stephen N. Hudson on December 17, 1977 at Aglipayan Church in Olongapo City, Philippines. Milagros moved to the states after marriage and was a resident of Indiana, California, Guam and Hawaii. Fluent in Filipino and English, Milagros loved shopping, gardening, floral arrangements and spending time with her family. She was the owner of Sears Flower Shop in Ala Moana Shopping Center. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and lei’s for her family and customers. After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Milagros is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stephen Hudson and by her beloved children Jasmin Vicentino (Joni Auza), Novella (Homer) Mangahis, Sophia (Leavornn) Dy, Stephanie (Beaux) Bonilla and Warren (Jackie) Hudson. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Aaron Vicentino, Adrian Mangahis, Aundrei Mangahis, Aundrew Mangahis, Mikayla Dy, Ryder Dy, Devyn Bonilla, Alyssa Bonilla, Makenzie Hudson; brothers, Eugenio (Concepcion) Vicentino Jr., Marcelino (Lourdes) Vicentino; sisters, Marvie Cabalic, Marlene (Jaime) Gamazon, Monina (Jun) Peralta; 5 nieces and 7 nephews. There will be a memorial service in Milagros’s honor on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe, HI. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. with service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery, Kaneohe, HI at 2:00 p.m.
