Mildred "Millie" Eleanor Hook's Obituary
Mildred “Millie” Eleanor Hook born July 18th, 1929 to Norman Bannister and Elizabeth Moniz passed away on August 18th and has joined her loving husband Wilfred Lai Hook, Sr for eternity. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunty.
Millie was a devout Roman Catholic known for her caring and loving personality. She loved her family and God above all else. She worked extremely hard to ensure that all of her children received a private school education and always put her loved ones before herself. Millie influenced the lives of multiple generations of family. Not only did she raise her four children, but also her nine grandchildren and a few of her great grandchildren.
Millie is survived by her children Wilfred “Biggy” Hook Jr, Winifred (Ted) Mokiao, Francis (Susanne) Hook, and Talbort (Marie) Hook. Grandchildren Michele (Stuart) Abalos, Brandon (Leiohu) Mokiao, Kahaunani (Phillip) Miller, Jacob Hook, Kanoelehua (Andrew) Heino, Justin Hook, Kealapualoke (Jansen) Fukuda, Michael (Reya) Mokiao, Jana (Makoa) ‘Aikala and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; Service to begin at 11:30 a.m., with burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
