Miles Fukuo Shiratori
68, of Kaneohe passed away peacefully in his Kaneohe home on April 17, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born in Honolulu on November 10, 1952 and was raised in Los Angeles California. Pre-ceded in death by his loving husband Leonard Jaffe, parents Phillip and Mildred Shiratori, sisters: Blanche De Bruce and Phyllis (Samson)Noa. Survived by sister Madge (Del) Quick and many nieces and nephews.
Miles was a veteran, model, philanthropist, and an investor before beginning his career in politics. His love for his family, friends, and community inspired him to run many political positions with the hope to bring change for the better for all. He was a true animal lover and cared tremendously for this island which he called home.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Valley of the Temples from 4pm – 8pm. Private family burial services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Hawaiian Memorial
