Minerva Louise Kelii-Nani Ahlo Gomes' Obituary
Minerva Louise Kelii-Nani Ahlo Gomes, 75, of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at her residence in Kailua. She was born on March 18, 1940 to Gilbert F. Ahlo Sr. and Philomena Waialii Souza in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a retired food preparer at Kalaheo High School’s Cafeteria, a clerk at Honolulu Iron Works, and a server at Lee’s Restaurant.
She is survived by husband, John K. C. Gomes; sons, Francis K. Gomes (Jennifer), Christopher K. Gomes (Rhoda); brother, Gilbert R. Ahlo (Dolores); sisters, Aloha M. Cummings (Melvin), Barbara K. Martin (Randal), and Velma K. Andrade; five grandchildren, Madeline K. Gomes, Taylor K. Gomes, Aaron K. Gomes, Luke K. Gomes, and Noah K. Gomes.
Visitation: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary, service to begin at: 10:30 a.m. with a burial to follow 1:00 p.m., at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
