Miriam Bannister Arcibal Bicoy's Obituary
MIRIAM BANNISTER ARCIBAL BICOY passed away in her home in Fort Worth, Texas at the age 57 after an 8 year long battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. Miriam was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines to Gregorio and Bessie Mae Arcibal. She moved to Waimanalo, Hawaii in 1972 with her parents and siblings. She graduated from Kailua High School in 1977 and then attended Taccoa Falls College in Taccoa Falls, Georgia. Miriam moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1989. Miriam has 3 children: Farrah Dickens (Jason) of Keller Texas, Trevor Bicoy of Baltimore, Maryland, and Tiffany Epps (Kenny) of Albany, Georgia, and 2 granddaughters: Taylor and Kendall Dickens, and 2 step-grandsons: Damien and Emory Epps. On June 13, 2005 Miriam married Godofredo Zapanta in Southlake, Texas. She worked at Castle Hospital, Straub Hospital, and Healthsouth Rehab Hospital as a medical assistant.
Miriam attended Kailua Community Church, Kailua, Hawaii, North Hills Christian and Missionary Alliance, North Richland Hills, Texas, Keystone Church, Keller, Texas, and Gateway Church North Fort Worth Campus, Fort Worth, Texas. Miriam loved traveling, especially to the islands of Hawaii and spending time with family and friends. Her heart was full of love for everyone and she cared deeply for each and every person she came in contact with. Sharing the love of and word of God was her lifelong testimony.
