Her favorite flower is the white or yellow ginger for its beautiful fragrance.
Her favorite scripture was 23rd Psalm, “The Lord is my Shepherd”
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
In her own words: “I am grateful for the many blessings I’ve received throughout my life and thankful to God for my loving parents (Edwin Anthony Voeller, my dearest father; and my very caring mother, Camelia Pa Voeller); my loyal and supportive husband , Manuel Pina Cabral; beautiful, handsome and loving children, daughter Miriam Winona, son Arnold Major, son Lester Pumehana and son Manuel Junior; my good-looking sister Florence Camelia; and my handsome brother Edwin Mokuokai Voeller; and especially my father-in-law John Pina Cabral and my gracious mother-in-law Jennie Grace Cabral, who gave me a very kind-hearted and tender-loving husband in their son Manuel Pina Cabral. I am grateful to have my childrens’ families and the family of my husband Manuel who have been very kind to me. God pour his blessings upon each and everyone of them.”
Aloha with all My Love,
