Kimo Keawe
My father, Mitchell-James Waipuna Keawe, Sr (Puna) was (and still is) the pillar of the Keawe legacy. He was the oldest of the Keawe 'ohana whose lineage is from moku 'o Keawe on the Big Island of the na ali'i kiha and liloa 'aina. My dad, the Keawe patriarch, taught my sister and I the importance of 'ohana (family) regardless of differences and pilikia. I will always honor and practice his teachings and continue to exemplify the "spirit of aloha!" - to my mom, Ethel Winona Keawe, who passed in 2017, l miss and love you much. You are both together, again. . . This time, forever. Aloha 'ia 'oe, e papa! (Mitchell-James Waipuna Keawe, Jr) aka Kimo Keawe
