I have just seen the obituary for Mitsu in the Cathedral High School newsletter.I had tried to contact Mitsu last year via Cathedral without success.
I feel a significant loss now that i know of her demise.

Mitsu and I attended Cathedral High School in New York and Holy Name in Manhattan [grade school].She and I would ride the subway to Cathedral and at Holy Name I knew her brothers.
I also visited her parents shop and met them both in Manhattan

So much to remember. It was a rich time.
My condolences the family.

I would welcome any contact to know about her life.She was a lovely and brilliant person.

Heartfelt condolences to the Papayoanou Family. I had the pleasure of working with Mitsu when she volunteered at the ACS Office in Kailua. I looked forward to those days as she was very efficient and quickly got things done. In addition to her work, the things I remember most about Mitsu were her family and her faith. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and I enjoyed the stories she shared. Mitsu will always be fondly remembered.
